OUR MISSION
To reflect God's heart by connecting families, children, and professionals to resources and support for help, hope, and healing. OUR VISION Every child a family, every family hope. WHAT WE DO
ADVOCACY – The orphan is a vulnerable group of people. Children need the protection and love of a family. The Alliance seeks to communicate this need to our community. Whether through adoption, foster care, hosting, or global orphan care we are all called to advocate for the orphan in their need. EDUCATION – Families interested in finding out more about adoption and foster care, those waiting for their child to come home, and those with children already in their home are invited to our annual conference. This informative event brings inspirational experts and a statewide community together to offer help, hope, and healing to the families of Wyoming. COMMUNITY – The Alliance seeks to connect families, churches, agencies and professionals in adoptive and foster care relationships with Godly resources and support. This arduous adventure doesn’t have to be alone. Whether through mentoring, Mom’s Night Out events, family BBQ’s, support groups, or our annual conference, this journey can be shared with friends. WHO WE ARE
The Wyoming Adoption & Foster Care Alliance is a community of people with a heart for adoption and foster care in Wyoming. The Alliance seeks to provide families and churches with opportunities to share ideas, coordinate events, and grow a network of support. We believe that God is doing something amazing in our community. He is stirring the hearts of believers to open their arms to care for His children through adoption and foster care. MORE INFORMATION

In the U.S. 397,122 children are living without permanent families in the foster care system. 101,666 of these children are eligible for adoption, but nearly 32% of these children will wait over three years in foster care before being adopted (AFCARS Report, No. 20). Internationally there are 17,900,000 orphans who have lost both parents and are living in orphanages or on the streets and lack the care and attention required for healthy development. These children are at risk for disease, malnutrition, and death (Childinfo , UNICEF, 2011). How can you help?
Once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know what to do. We are responsible to act. |
